Welcome

Overeaters Anonymous (OA) offers a program of recovery from compulsive overeating, binge eating and other eating disorders using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of OA.

OA is not just about weight loss, weight gain, maintenance, obesity or diets. It is not a religious organization and does not promote any particular diet.

OA members differ in many ways, but we are united by our common disease and the solution we have found in the OA program.

For newcomers

Please take the time to read ‘About OA ‘ and consider attending a meeting.

Who We Are

The Heart of Texas Intergroup provides support to OA members and groups in Austin and the surrounding counties.

Thinking of returning to OA?

Have you been back out in the wilderness of compulsive eating?  Do you think you are lost and forgotten the way home? Take a minute to read Returning From Relapse. Remember we are waiting for you with open arms.
